The "College for Kids" summer program in Weyburn at Southeast College held a "Cake Boss" day on Thursday, where the kids made chef's hats and aprons, and decorated cupcakes, with the cupcakes judged by staff at the college. The top three designs were voted by all those who checked out the designs.

The "Biggest Little Fair in Saskatchewan", the Creelman Fair, celebrated its 120th edition on Saturday with a full day of activities, including a dog show, horse show, and the ever-popular pig scramble. The event also had a pancake breakfast, parade, food and beverage gardens, live music, bouncy houses, exhibits and much more.
