Five new cases of COVID-19, 12 more recoveries and five in hospital

Saskatchewan had five new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the provincial total to 627 on May 22. Four of the new cases were in the far north and one was in the south. Of the 627 reported cases, 99 were considered active.

Saskatchewan had five new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the provincial total to 627 on May 22. Four of the new cases were in the far north and one was in the south. 

Of the 627 reported cases, 99 were considered active. Twelve more people recovered, bringing the provincial total to 521. 

There were five people in hospital with two receiving inpatient care (one in Saskatoon and one in Regina) and three in intensive care (all in Saskatoon). 

To date, 42,843 COVID-19 tests were performed in the province.
