COVID-19 update for Saskatchewan: 20 new cases, three in hospital and 643 recoveries

There were 20 new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan to report on June 21, bringing the provincial total to 746. Eighteen of the new cases were in the province’s southern districts and two cases originated in Saskatchewan’s far northern regions.

Eighteen of the new cases were in the province’s southern districts and two cases originated in Saskatchewan’s far northern regions. 

Of the 746 reported COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan, 88 were considered active. 

Two of the cases that tested positive were people who resided out-of-province and are currently under investigation.

A total of 643 people had recovered from the virus since the pandemic’s onset. 

Three people were in intensive care, including one case in Saskatoon and two cases in the south. 

There were no other COVID-19-related inpatient hospitalizations as of Sunday, June 21.
