Clifford Skogberg On Sunday, March 27, 2011 in the Veteran's Unit of the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, Mr. Clifford Skogberg, late of Regina, passed away at the age of 91 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Gina Skogberg; wife, Marion Skogberg; four sisters, Lillian Cross, Florence Duncan, Alice Stewart and Mabel Berg; four brothers, Carl, Henry, John and Gordon; and two brothers-in-law, Murray Stewart and Ray Anderson. Clifford is survived by one daughter, Moira (Terry) Grant of Saskatoon and their children Lindsay (Jeff), Jackie, Michael, and Kyle; three sons, Allan (Bonnie) of Sedley, and his children Angie (Jeff), Aaron (Amanda) and Alana (Jesse); Gary (Louella), their children Leif (Leah), Jenna and Lara (Mitch); and Bryan (Lori) and their children Jaimie (Aaron), Jocelyn and Jeff; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Hilda Anderson; and brother-in-law Bill Duncan. Born at Estevan, Saskatchewan, Clifford completed his schooling there prior to joining the Armed Forces (South Saskatchewan Regiment) during WWII where he was wounded in the Dieppe Raid. He married Marion in 1945. He was an avid golfer and long time member of the Regina Golf Club. Clifford was also a loving grandfather who thoroughly enjoyed all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was employed at the Saskatchewan Liquor Board for 35 years throughout the province. A Memorial Service was held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. A very special thank you to Julie and the rest of the staff on Ward 3-5 at Wascana as well as other caregivers over the past few years.
